Scared Poem by Sarah Riley

Scared

Rating: 4.5

As I walk in the door,
I see your face light up,
Like I was the sunshine in your rainy day.
I see the pain in your eyes,
Your scared.
But you act brave, for your young grand-daughter.
I know your scared,
Because I am scared as well.
I've thought of what can happen,
and it scares me like nothing else.
But don't be afraid to show you are scared,
I am scared,
We are all scared.
But you have a wonderful family.
Who loves you very much,
And who want you to get better.
You have me.
And I will be strong,
Because I love you Grandpa.

This is a really good poem. I feel your fear and pain throughout it. Your hope for things to be better shines in the end. Nice write.
