How does one awaken, with sunrise flourishing pitch black?
crawling through the darkness, scabbed knees, the proof of lack.
How I'd admire a hacienda, I'd breathe in brilliant flame of light.
And the many scars that assaulted me, would heal with the dark of night.
Instead of life controlling me, I'd be blessed with knowledge, without fright.
I'm beginning to hear the concept, that to have it all, just ask,
an almost impossibility when you don't trust anyone, they wear a mask.

Interesting poem, I had no idea what you meant by hacienda, had to look it up. Some times mysteries of language excite me more then the thought of writing poetry itself. For me that kind of thing I would describe as viewing word porn(meaning for me the expression of very descriptive words) . Thanks for sharing.
