Scars Of Strength Poem by Nomvuselelo M Ndlazi

Scars Of Strength

My scars tell a story, of trials and strife
Of battles fought and won, of a warrior's life
They remind me of the pain, of the darkness and the night
But they also remind me, of the strength that I've gained in the fight

I used to hide my scars, to conceal the pain
But now I wear them proudly, like a badge of honor and gain
They're a reminder of my journey, of the trials I've faced
And the strength that I've gained, in this journey to this place

I'm no longer ashamed, of the scars that I bear
I'm proud of the strength, that I've gained through the years
I'm proud of the person, that I've become today
A warrior, a survivor, with scars that tell a story to say

I'll wear my scars with pride, like a badge of honor and might
I'll tell my story, to help others find their light
I'll be a beacon of hope, in the darkest of nights
And I'll shine my light, to guide others to their own strength and might

And when the darkness falls, and the shadows come to play
I'll remember my scars, and the strength that they convey
I'll stand tall and proud, with my scars on full display
And I'll shine my light, to guide others through the dark of day.
