Scented Rose Poem by Tosan Utieyin

Scented Rose

You are the rose
round about my garden.
So scented are you,
With beauty that overwhelms me.

You have chased me
to the bottom part of love.
My heart you have stolen away.

If loving you is a sin,
I will never be forgiven.
If loving you is a crime,
I will be a customer to jail.
If loving you is a war,
I will stand to wage it.
If loving you is a journey
of a thousand mile,
I will go two thousand.

Loving you is the only option I have.
Not obeying is like
digging a pit to fall
Let's move, love has prevailed!
