Seacrets Poem by Pat Czyz

Seacrets

Anchor laid, sails rolled and ship mored.
Endless nauts traversed to a last halt;
And what can a sailor do when bored
But stand idle by some wharfage,
Staled and rusty from seaweed and salt.
But lo! Beauty and fate now behold!
A face emerged, angelic visage,
Her swim, her shine lapped with sea foam.
Dive from this hull, jump in and roam!
Feel free to join the splash and forsake
Forever the hold of wood and masts
To which dreams were but bound fast,
Ere a sunset finds them awashed
‘Till the nightly shade dims even the seabed.
