Seashore Poem by William B. Deutscher

Seashore

Summer sun
and fairground whirl,
Afternoon edge
on the cusp of a smile.
Feminine drop
in rolling time,
ocean front,
black thunderstorm cloud.
Horizon fraught
with distant rain,
night-time loss
and the sound of the sea.
