Season Of Life Poem by Ian Jay Bantilan

Season Of Life

Every leaf is green again
In the court of my backyard.
I can feel the gentle wind;
It’s faintest message from afar.

There used to be a little lass,
Who lived not very far
Whose childhood years of life has past
And fin’lly her debut will start.

All the precious memories
and pictures of the past.
Has come in pleasant melodies,
Oh, time has gone so fast.

'Twas only then that I would hear
the high-pitched cries and peicing cheers
Of little girls engaged in play
While Nonot dashed his toys away.

Remember all your childhood friends,
and all who've come your way.
Treasure those words and times they spent
With you from yesterday.

Listen to you father's words
And what your mommy said.
Even to your Auntie Lourd's,
Surely keep them in your head.

Honor your folks at home
And flaunt them to your friends,
For God knows your noble soul
Soon, blessings He will send.

Listen up, Laarne Joan
And open up your mind.
There's something here that you must learn
That hope, some truth you’ll find.

Do not rejoice at freedom,
Or be cheered at freedom’s sake
Being moderate will make you winsome;
To choose judgement on certain fate.

Freedom is not found alone,
Nor there no price to be free;
‘Cause liberty craves company
This, ‘tis called responsibility.

Always keep your heart at bay
Before d'time it leads astray.
Fill your soul with worthy thoughts
Walk towards the Higher way.

And last, be glad and merry
Rejoice, it is your day.
A diff’rent world awaits tomorrow
With a thousand choice’ to make.

These are the gush of breezes,
In special times of year.
Unique and special pieces,
Of memories you hold dear.

Let’s celebrate, please call the guys.
Pop champaigne and blend the ice,
There is so much to thank God for,
This is the profound Season of Life.

Congratulations! God Bless.,
