There's a place in my heart that's only waiting for your arrival.
I go there from time to time.
I sweep and mop the floors.
I recolorthe walls and paint the sky blue.
I garden every time to keep the roses fresh.
I cut the grass and water the flowers.
I rebuild the playground in the backyard so our kids have a place to have fun.
I build a playhouse so they can go camping doing spring break.
I feed the family dog and make sure he's strong and pure.
Solid as steel, so when I leave he protects the house at the gate.
I put security cameras around the house so no one will be able to break in.
I have the bed made nice and neat with silk sheets, so you can rest at night.
I have a picture frame with no images.
Because when you get here, we can take our first portrait together as a family. By: M.W. Styner, Jr.
