Seducer Poem by B. V. Dahlen

Seducer

You are our gypsy. You tease us to savor more exotic blooms, when our noses are entombed in dandelions. You purse our lips into a whistle, and entice tunes we've long forgotten. You lure our feet into dances, that liberate our stoic hearts. You drape our shoulders with gaudy fabrics, silken and gossamer,
daring us to dance in the moonlight. You saddle the half wild steed, and thunder off to the future, leading us laggards, struggling to keep up. You relish sweetmeats and delicacies, tempting us to taste the forbidden. You are the sorceress, the enchantress, who lifts our lives from the mundane to the amazing.
Savor that exotic wine, and always remember that we, your bounded followers, depend on you, The Gypsy Queen, to lead us in dance.
