Seeing The Invisible - Poem by Joy Davis

Down a dark and lonely street
a hollow heart is dying
No one sees a girl to meet
nor the streaked emotions of crying

I walk along in the dark
searching for a face
Someone with a distinguishing mark
with a love you cannot erase

Rejection and shattering pain
tears at her broken heart
Shadowing a dark stain
pushing her further apart

How can I be there
How can I love you
to heal your pain
offer you peace
I wanna be there
I wanna love you
He can heal your pain
Give you eternal peace

Just follow me
Find that missing love
Believe in Him
Just look up above
