Seeking For It Poem by Adedamola Quadri Adeniyi

I have longed search for love,
Stumbled over thousands hearts,
just to get to mine which is yours.
The rising of the sun is my
everlasting hope of finding you.

But here I am broken and pale.
from yesterday's pains of how
you stomp on my heart like a doormat.

The scars in my heart,
can testify my promising hope.
The chirping of the crickets,
are witnesses to my flavoured love.
Tell it to me that you do and I will love again.

Tell it to me that you care,
And I will define love by its shadows.
Tell it to me that you do love me,
And I will bring back those lovely
memories we had when we were young.

If there is any dream I should have,
it should be of you and of you only.
If there is anything I should possess,
it should be your heart right here in my soul.

I wrote you this poem,
just to tell you how much,
I have falling in love with you
Your love is a  beautiful rose
Which I dare and die to have.
