Segregated Poem by Itohan Stephanie #

Segregated

YOU have separated me all to yourself
You are the only ONE i can Trust
YOU called me, i obeyed
YOUR voice echos through my soul
YOU are in me and am in YOU

What exactly is my offence
Is my sin unforgivable?
Why am i the one YOU chose
The one YOU segregated
i have no say in my destiny

My destination is were YOU lead me
But for reasons unknown
My soul trusts YOU, I confide in You
YOU are my keeper, my custodial
YOU are my primacy

YOU are my Dominance, my ruler
YOUR word my command
YOUR Will, i adhere
YOUR are my Eternal gift
YOU are my friend, My Helper

My soul Adores YOU
The journey of life is tedious
Every step vigorously tasking
My weary heart hunger for rest
i look to rest my head in YOUR Care

YOU have befriended me
Even Before i know i needed a friend
YOU have Loved me
Even before i took my first leap
YOU have spoken to me
Even before i learned how to speak

My separation became my Blessing
Those YOU separate, YOU Uplift
YOU are my Essence, My JESUS!
