I sifted the dust of the entire world,
Saw heaps of pathways,
Yet I could not find my own reality.
I peered into lush green valleys,
Writhed in the heat of scorching deserts,
Beyond the galaxy—
I asked with flickering eyes,
Probed in the silence of night
and the first blush of dawn.
I plunged into the depths of the ocean,
Listened for secrets in the whispers of waves,
Yet found only my own reflection—
A shadow without meaning, a stone without song.
Then one day, the veil lifted,
And a vision entered my sight.
No separation remained, no distinction endured—
All ephemeral illusions dissolved,
And my eyes met Reality.
In every particle blazed
the radiance of the One,
Source of all that is.
Not merely "I, " but "We"—
From the dry and the wet,
from the earth and the sky,
came the call:
"I Am!
I Am!
I Am! "
"What you behold
is My manifestation.
You are My manifestation—
through you I display My beauty.
What you see are My mirrors,
And you are My mirror,
in which I contemplate My own splendor."
Then I knew the Truth:
I was the One I had been seeking.
The journey vanished,
for the destination had always been myself—
luminous, incomparable.
Within the circle of Oneness,
my soul is nothing but the Truth—
and in the mirror of Truth,
I beheld myself.
