A poem is a 'Selfie' of the poet
a clear picture of his mind and heart
every word portrays his deep emotion
that stirred his heart for poetic motion

his weal and woe, his love and frustration
and on life and death- his own reflection
also his reaction when society fought by nail and tooth
amid chaos and protests to establish the truth

moreover, poetry brings out his virtues and vice
his love, kindness, empathy and joy- all things nice
or his hatred, anger that he's ever met in life
through verses he whispers all, his life's struggle and strife.
