Selfishness Love Poem by Aman Basnet

Selfishness Love

Selfless love

Heaven blooms with countless flowers,
Their fragrance drifts like whispered prayers.
Still… I always return to you.

Every petal carries heaven's scent,
But my soul chases only you.
Even if you vanish in drifting sand,
I feel your presence lingering,
Isn't it amazing how I always return to you?

I wander through dusk-lit streets,
Because you linger there, like the moon—
Its silver rays could blind me,
Yet I refuse to look away.

The sky holds a thousand stars,
Each one dazzling, distant…
But none glints like her.
You are my Halley's Comet,
Burning bright, fleeting, unforgettable,
And I wait, endlessly, patiently,
Isn't it amazing how I always return to you
