Sensitivity Poem by Hassan Panero

Sensitivity

Adjusting Our sensitivity
For the road ahead
Needs fingers to glide & select
Command & obey
Like the words introduced to us by clay
Revision for life's riddle
For our kids sake

The brave made the same mistakes
We align in a prejudice way
The innocent act guilty in a forsaken way
Reacting to provoking words with emptiness
For the sake of motivated emotions
Actions in the wrong direction
Leads to provocative tension

It's okay for us to disagree
But more importantly stand for your belief
As long as no one bleeds
That was then, this is now
So long as bullets remains divorced from guns
Children will reasmble in playgrounds
But when evil disguises as the sun
Blue clouds will thunder & strike before you can run
Are we working towards a common outcome
When you point & I face the gun
Contempt that death is fear to the ignorent
But believing will invision a brand new beginning
Adopted for sensitivity in world of calamity
