Seraphine On Trial Poem by colleen brennan

Seraphine On Trial

There is not enough paper for my response

saddness

anxiety

afraid

I was when questioned on trial

I have no expectations

or preconceived notion of what I will come to discover

Path through silence

In solitary confinement

I am Seraphine

A delightful experience to be in silence

with ones soul

it longs for

relish in it

the soul

secretly feels the eye of her maker

when in silence upon her
