Serenade To My Muse Poem by Den Dooven Diederik

Serenade To My Muse

Your gaze touches me, like a sirocco
The moon silently kissing the wild Neptunian depths
In your eyes, the art of a thousand masters shines
Each sparkle a painting, a gateway to inveiglement
In the rhythm of your breath

Your voice, like the trembling of a crystal wind chime
Like the song of spring
Your body scented with morning blossoms
You are the mountains, the sea, the horizon
The creation of the universe

You move me, explosively
More than a part
More than the whole
The sweeping fire
A gravitational force in the cosmic phenomenon

My devotion to you, a stirring star
Outshining all boundaries
All that is, all that was, and all that will be
Only you
What I seek, extol, and care for
