Serenity Poem by Anusruti Saha

Serenity

Wide open sky overhead

I kept listening to the soothing music of the mild blowing air.

The trees amidst stands still as pillars of stone

The cacophony of the roadside cars kept buzzing in the ear.

But,
The restless mind needs a room for peaceful remuneration

Sitting in an armchair I lie in deep contemplation

Thinking about the universe.

The tinkling sound of the evening Arati renders the withered soul a quiet atmosphere to meditate

My eyelids are shut
A tranquil feeling start

The smell of the
incense sticks enables to connect with the eternity

Serenity serenity serenity.
