Serenity. - Poem by Kat Dunn

Sittin Here Waiting
For The Sun To Come Up
The Warmth Of Its Touch
Just Isn't Enough
So I'm Left Here Wondering
What's It Gonna Take
For Me To Open My Eyes
And Realize
Where Do I Go From Here?
It's Like I'm Frozen With Fear
Shackled To My Past
And Those Words That Were Said
I Could Have Loved You From My Dying Breath
Emotions Run Deep
And I Can't Think
Its Blurry
Even When The Sun Is So High
I Cry
It Beams Down On Me
Beckoning
Trying To Make Me Feel Alive
But I'm Dying Inside.
Maybe This Is All A Dream
But It Seems So Real To Me
Maybe One Day I'll Wake Up
And Find Serenity.
