Seven Angels Poem by John Chvirko

Seven Angels

Seven angels came to town
early Christmas morning
Mary and Joseph in a manger
baby Jesus adoring
The angels joined with shepherds and kings
in songs of celebration
and the newborn Savior smiled
loving so - His first congregation
Children knelt near the infant
and bowed their heads in prayer
and the tiniest of them reached and
gently touched His golden hair
All then gathered round the child
tears of joy flowing
and looking down from above
a proud Father glowing - a proud Father glowing
