No matter what I'll always be there
Maybe visible, maybe not
I'm the other person to your pair
I see you cry, even if you don't cry a lot

I'll always be there when the going gets rough
Through good, through bad
Even when the rough gets tough
I'll be there when you're happy or sad

You look down and I'm there, even at night
I'm beside you in the rain, when the wind chime will dangle
You look down and I'm there, gazing in the light
I'm your protector, kinda like a guardian angel

I protect you when you are awake or when you are asleep
I'm your shadow day in and day out
I'm yours and only yours to keep
I'm always gonna be your friend, without a doubt
