Within the caverns of my chest, a tempest brews,
A storm of hatred, relentless and true,
For the one who promised love's gentle sway,
But in betrayal's grasp, they led astray.
Each heartbeat echoes with the pain they wrought,
A symphony of anguish, a soul distraught,
Blame they hurl, like arrows in the night,
Yet refuse to see their own dark plight.
Their fingers point, their words like knives,
Carving wounds deeper with each guise,
A monstrous mask they wear with ease,
While shredding trust like autumn leaves.
In the labyrinth of their twisted mind,
They dance with demons, cruel and unkind,
Yet in the mirror, a reflection they deny,
A human facade concealing their lie.
But beneath the surface, the truth remains,
A heart consumed by its own disdain,
For love betrayed is a flame unquenched,
In the ashes of trust, forever entrenched.
So I carry the weight of this burning ire,
A testament to love's funeral pyre,
For the one who I thought loved me true,
Is but a monster in human hue.
