Shadows of dreams
In which I’ll never see
For today is my end
Please don’t you grieve
A lonely oak
Scared by plastic and steel
Sealed my fate
With one turn of the wheel

In the cover of darkness
The lonely oak grows
Maybe to take another life
The lord only knows

A ribbon on the tree
To always remember me
Photos in my heart
And pictures in my dreams
Shadows of Dreams

Spring will come
The oak will bloom
Another season passed
Your heartache will end soon
Time is the only thing
That can heal a broken heart
Go on with your life
And make a fresh start
