She And I Poem by 0 (Zero) ...

She And I

Rating: 2.9

I looked at her.
And she at me.
I wondered to myself,
'Is this
Meant to be? '

My eyes held love,
And hers did not.
I knew in my soul,
'This is
My only shot.'

I took a step forward,
She followed my lead.
I hoped, that somehow,
'Was it
My intentions she did read? '

I grabbed her hand,
She tilted her head to the side.
I wished with my heart,
'If only
I'd swallow my pride.'

But I just stared,
And her mind she wracked.
I sighed and said slowly,
'I'm sorry,
I should just head back.'

Sadly, I walked away,
And as did she.
So, I sobbed to myself,
'How I
Wish you'd love me.'
