She Is, He's Not Poem by Stephen Holcombe

She Is, He's Not

I've seen it plenty of times,
cold dark nights of bitter thoughts
of what really happened,
it seems I can't trust another,
not a friend,
not a brother,
now that I look back,
I guess that I was just lucky
to make it through that day,
It's over,
leave me alone,
go away,
I'm fine.
