my forbidden lie
i speak in have little and have not
destined not to die

the people i have lost
and were killed, let them not rot
i alone, was auctioned to a maiden
she made me live, and my love was but bought

a lie upon a lie
i lived as a bought 4 lover
whispering sweet nothing to my conqueror
to die i can not

she speaks in lies
and my love is surely sought
i spoke in pain
4 my people, they do rot and rot

i sought
i wonder
but a lie is a lie
and i am ensnared,
an unlucky slave who was caught
