Once there was a girl
who watched everyone else
While she waited and waited
for what? No one could tell,

Her heart seeked for love
and her mind full of lust
she waited and waited
but her crush didn't do much,

His eyes didn't see her
he didn't know her name
but his heart ached for love
they were one in the same,

She watched and waited
she loved and hated,

Finally they met
only fate's choice
he seemed so unpleased
she seemed full of joy,

Days went on
then weeks
even months
they became happily united
both sharing love,

But neither shared
their desperate desire
to love and laugh and be with each other,

A dance came around
and the girl's heart skipped a beat
the boy's heart heated up
he was in for a feat,

During the day
he passed queitly by
and then whispered real nervous:
'Would you join me tonight? '
