Sheep Poem by MICHAEL VILANOVA

Sheep

The lord is my Shepard
And i am part of his herd
A flock placed here on earth
Our mighty father gave us birth
Lost sheep grazing on earths fine meadows
Fat and round full casted shadows
That no longer look as i am part of his herd
In the distance my Shepard's voice can be heard
For he still watches over me and rest of the sheep
Even at times he feels he should weep
Stumbling over all the casted stones
He tells me i don't have to graze alone
Showing me the meadows with no thorns
That he once felt and had worn
So as we graze here on earths fine meadows
With our out of shape shadows
Remember we still have a mighty Shepard
Welcoming us to still be part of his herd
