Shining Stars Poem by Kaylah Reynolds

Sitting here staring knowing its over
covered for you had cost me everything
Did it thinking it'd go undiscovered
It hurts me too, it gives such a great sting

Never asked you for anything at all
Don't blame me when it is all but your fault
For I'm the one who had to take your fall
all of my emotions locked in a vault

I sat quietly awaiting this plea
I actually thought It'd go my way
only to find that the accused was me
Then again i'm just apart of your play

trust me you will forever be my star
the thing is you only leave me with scars
