Should Be Me Poem by Timothy Harrington II

Should Be Me

I watch him as he lays there
So stale, stiff and silient
Why him i say

I was there
I have not a care
I should be there

Not a hiar
He should have not been their
Shall be me

Not just a knee
A remembrance
An honor

Neal down
Say no more
Be silient and take a bow

Some how, some where,
I hope to make it through
and close my eyes to imbrace
