Shuttered Mirror Poem by Macwolls Kay

Shuttered Mirror

She spent an hour or two with a brush and a mirror,
Hoping to look like a queen with a crown,
Elegant lady like the women in the movies,
Rebirth of a lady, a woman of splendor,
But when he broke her heart in two,
She shuttered the mirror and burned the brush.
