Silence Poem by Arwa Bharmal

Silence

Not a word did you speak
When we met or you called.
Not a word did you type
Over the net when you wrote.
The voice was too weak.
The text was just a quote.
Silent sweet sorrow,
Starting and stopping,
Standing and staring,
Sitting and sharing,
Smiles of sadness:
Silent sweet sorrow.
