The time has mellowed since last we met,
And suspended was left in my thought your smile,
Wherewith the graces of a wondrous amulet,
Has safeguarded me from solitude meanwhile.
The springs' flowers have spattered with sunlight,
And their fragrances have drifted within vagabond breeze,
But the gaze in your eyes lovingly bright,
Has persevered my comforting wants to please.
The autumns' leaves had lay like tapestry,
And their hues have disappeared beneath a mist,
That had crept as in many a memory,
The intense sense as when in secret we kissed.
But now, alone I listen to the wind's sound
Moving with rush upon the frosty ground.
