Single Room Of Magdalene Poem by PROMISE ITA OKPOHOUDEME

Single Room Of Magdalene

Go home Magdalene,
Your period has stopped,
The bleeding is over,
Tears only cause a flood!
Erosion rewind no time Magdalene.

Be them follies!
Be them wits
You've stated your heart
No fair foul rebuke death in the time.

Shut your lenses,
Embrace the darkness,
Walk like a blind,
Through the corridor without candles.

A grave is a single room,
Oh a moment lover!
Do not beseech a company,
Minds make the world a tyranny.

I am a key that broke through your door,
The first painter that marbled your walls,
I've seen your rooms before the law,
Rashly, you've campaigned me your past.

Oh Magdalene, some grasses,
Do not live green across the Sun!
What have you done to an only son?
Walking away a blest and not a cursed.

Today, fate sets us a peace,
Do not fine me,
I am of the light,
I bid farewell as you paddle the kite.

The pharisees round your privacy today,
To lay away the surface of you,
But, by confession I know a parcel of you
Which only Heaven, you and I can buy.

But, Heaven isn't as blind a man,
In complete sanctity, all things command,
But, how do we expect beyond our demands!
So's Heaven twerking at people's wills.
