Sixty Four Ways Poem by M. Scott Cooper

Sixty Four Ways

I don't know what I've been told
and I know that it'd be very bold
but I don't think I'd grow very old
if I told you what I thought
about you

and I don't know what I could say
to make you think a certain way
and make you act like it's ok
to say what you think
about me

and I don't know what I could do
to make you act so very true
so I don't feel so very blue
it's funny how life works out
a-that way

and I don't know what I could try
to take the sunlight from the sky
and take the glimmer from Einstein's eye
just to make your day
a little brighter

so I don't know what I've been told
and I don't know what I could say
and I don't know what I could do
and I don't know what i could try

I guess I'd just roll over and die
but I don't know how to do that either
