Sleep Well My Sweet Darling Dear - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Goodnight my sweet darling dear Kira
and let's slip into bed and cuddle for awhile
and share some sweet kisses so very good
before we go to sleep,
I want to end this night as every other night
in your arms my sweet darling dear of true love
and just snuggle away the twilight hours.
Come my sweet dear and let's climb into bed
and cuddle sharing passionate kisses
that make our hearts and souls sing to the heavens.
Let's slip into bed my darling dear
and just snuggle while I whisper in you ear
so very softly and loving I love you Kira
to me you are magic.
Will you marry me and be mine forever?
I love you sweet darling because you are my Angel
and I will always honor you with the best I have in me.
I will give you all the love you've been deserving
and serve you my Queen so very faithfully.
I honor you in true love my dear darling
now let's share sweet kisses in bed while we snuggle away.

Goodnight my sweet darling dear and after
we snuggle and kiss for awhile
just rest your head upon my chest and I'll
pull you in so very tight to rub your back
and stroke your hair while we talk until we fall asleep,
or if you would like I'll read to you
your favorite pieces of my poetry.
Only to and for you my sweet dear will I read it aloud
and there will be a private collection just for you.
So as we lay down feel all of my loving care and deep warmth
and feel these sweet kisses I send to you.
I'll be watching over you as I always am
and I'll be giving all of my love to you my sweet Angel dove.
A sweet and precious goodnight to you
my dear gorgeous Queen and Angel of light.
I love you so deeply and miss you so much,
just rest your head upon my chest to give us both peace.

I'll see you tonight in the land of sweet dreams
where we'll take a walk along the path
of the brilliant moon and bright stars,
getting lost in their magic as we sit down
after a while to cuddle, talk, and picnic.
Tonight my sweet love a cosmic journey
on the rocket ship of our love along the moon and the stars.
There's nobody else I'd rather be with than you
the woman I love with all of my mind, heart, soul,
and body to my very core.
I love you sweet Kira my divine northern star
and in the land of dreams tonight I'll see you
and hold you so very tight among the brilliant
moon and stars that for you will be shining so very bright.

Goodnight and sleep well my beautiful and wonderful
darling dear whom I hold and cherish above all,
my heart calls out and sings to you all
of my most favorite love songs to give
you comfort and peace within your heart and soul
that are so very beautiful and pure,
just feel me wrap my arms around you and pull
you in for a tight snuggle with kisses of love
so very full of true love so pure,
I'm taking your hand and holding it all of the time.
Goodnight and sleep well sweet Kira my beautiful
and amazing darling dear.
I'll love you forever and remain dedicated to my only lady,
I'm here for you Kira and I always will be
because you are my hero, my soul mate, and my
most wonderful and treasured best friend.
