Now I lay down to sleep
But my eyes are open, I feel so incomplete
Wondering how I let things go wrong
It eats away at me all night long
I will do anything to make things right
If it would make a difference, I’ll be on the next flight
What would it hurt to start over again
In case you forgot, I’m still your superman
You will see after one look into my eyes
That’s all it will take for you to realize
That I love you more than you will ever know
Once your back in my arms, I will never let go
All it will take is for you to believe in me
No doubt in my mind, I will make you happy
Call it wishful thinking or maybe a dream
Or maybe you have some kind of hold over me.
But I will never give up, not on you
Until we are back together and my dream comes true
So then when I lay down to sleep
With you next to me, I am now complete
