Sleepwalking Poem by Daniel Brown

Sleepwalking

I had a waking dream,
Where past and present coalesced,
I was somewhere in between....
I tried to catch the thoughts that came,
Stitches seam to seam,
With your omnipresence dancing in...
Like light from off a beam.

Your face was captured,
Essence found,
I just couldn't shake you off...
So i embraced your ghost...
And kept you close,
Falling fast asleep...
