Slipping Away Poem by Haley cox

Slipping Away

My last breath is spewing over my lips,
Escaping from my lungs
Leaving my body.

This is the last movment my lungs will make
They shall not rise or fall again

My heart speeds up to slow down
It feels as if it has hellicopter wings
Trying to cut open my chest and leave forever

He wont try and stop it,
For he's the one who caused this
My slipping away
