Small Town Living Poem by Oscar Wyss

Small Town Living

Small Town Living
The ideal place for dreaming
Where everyone truly knows your name
The illusive American Dream
But clean away the crusty paint
You'll find it's collapsing at the seams
Immense poverty and drug Addiction
Roam and Rave in the streets
Poor education and gentrification
Abolish its independent culture
It so carefully procured
But isn't it what we all want?
A Small Town Living
