Smile Poem by Matthew Moser

Smile

Across a room,
Figures dance,
Entranced,

I never thought,
I would of forgot,
Of all the things in the world that breathe,
That one of those things was me.

Yet Air catches,
Hangs like time on a summers day,
As moon beams falls through the dancers sway,

Across the ocean of lovers stands a solitary girl,
Smiling and sighing content with this happy world,
The sight of her is enough for me.
At least for a while,
I enjoy just watching her smile.
