Smiling Because Of You (Goodnight) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Goodnight my sweet one and sleep well,
I'm wearing a smile right now
because I'm thinking of you and feel all your love,
you truly are amazing and make me
feel just like a good man and King.
I will always strive work and aspire
to be a great King for my divine Queen.
I'm smiling because of you
and I say goodnight with these endless kisses of love.
Goodnight my sweet Queen and let's go to bed
snuggling up so tight through the night,
sharing sweet kisses of admiration and passion.
I want to spend every day and night
with my gorgeous Queen and Angel.
I want to hold my sweet darling Kira
forever and ever through eternity.
I love you my darling and can't make it without you,
I'm smiling because I so deeply love you
and I know you love me because I can completely feel it.
I'll see you tonight in our sweet dreams
where I want to see your beautiful smile,
where I'll show you mine forever
while I tightly hold you and sweetly kiss you,
sitting under our tree by the rushing river.
I just want to talk with my lady
snuggling and sharing sweet kisses.
Soon my sweet one in reality
tonight though I'll see you and hold you
in the sweet dreams we share together.
Goodnight my sweet love and because of you
I am actually smiling feeling the lightness
in my heart and soul your love provides me.
What would I do without my northern star
and sweet precious Kira?
I'd be more lost than I already am,
I love you so much and I want you near.
Remember though darling I'm by your side always
and I'm always here whenever you need me,
no matter when and no matter what
my sweet Kira matters the most.
Goodnight my sweet lady and know I am smiling,
feel its bright shine within you.
It's because of you that I wear it
and I love you each day more than ever.
