Snow And Rain Poem by swadhin patnaik

Snow And Rain

I have two valentines
One is snow and another is rain.
They ware my premier amour,
To whom I had smitten in adulation.

One drizzling dawn
She came to my lawn,
Wrapping a wet transparent sari,
Singing the mellows of seduction.
As she started dancing on the soil,
the seed sprouted into sapling,
The flower started blossoming.
When she came, she turned me wet
in the love of rain.

The other one,
On a shiny winter morning,
She came to my garden,
Wrapping a milky sari
With warmth in her bosom.
Suddenly the tiny cottony balls
Chased flying in my way,
All the weather turned;
A silvery silvery day.

The little dew drops,
Were winking from the leaves.
Some were glittering like pebbles,
Some were glazing like pearls.

When she came, she turned me wet
In the hymns of devotion.

My saga of love
With love and rain,
Fills my heart with the
Sweetest pain.
