When you told me you love me so
I thought I had it all...

Your absence had me reckless
You presence had me ecstatic
My innocence had you bewitched
My liveliness had you asking for more

I thought we were made for each other
You love everything about me
And I found no faults in you
I thought we were meant to be together

You seem so close and yet so far
I have you to hold but not forever
I have your love but only for now
I thought I had it all...

The truth stood before us
The forbidden path cuts and bruises
The love we shared will end with tears
I thought I had a chance to love you till eternity…
