So Different From The Last Time - Poem by kendyll brown

everytime you call im so filled with joy
its one more time i get to hear your sweet voice
i love hearing you laugh
i swear i can see it through the phone
your what brightens my day
from dusk till dawn
as the night stars set
butterflies lie in my tummy
and they never subside or go away
then comes an akward silence, that so many like to break
but no not me, this kind is different
the kind of silence you dont mind having around
the kind that lets you know
the person you love
is on the other end of the phone
saying without words, i love you
