So Much For The Journey We Are At The Destination Poem by Mark Oloo

It has been a long journey, from point X to point Y,
Many at times feeling discouraged, driven by passion,
Bold and daring, to venture into a new life,
Trying to fit into shoes, that are not mine.

The journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step,
The motivation and driving force, behind our actions speak loud,
To keep us trying to be successful, to the very end,
Where we find some amount of peace, because we did our best.

You don't have to break the rules, if you can bend the rules even a little bit,
We have the notion to stay guided, giving the extra confidence,
To deepen our pockets is one of the motivations, blood and sweat,
So much for the journey, we are almost at the destination.

You have to keep on trying, there is a reason or two,
Why it is not currently working out, but don't quit,
There is light at the end of the tunnel, so we beaming with hope,
In the quest to find, a deeper meaning of life, our Destination.
