Social Chameleon Poem by Mary Champion

Social Chameleon

His identity -
very slippery,
he's living in a fantasy.

His shape-shiftery
is a novelty
that disconcerts humanity.

His identity
is a mystery
and has been throughout history.

Blending seamlessly
in society,
he plays his part convincingly.

He will lie with ease
‘cos he wants to please.
It's down to his psychology.

A chameleon -
he remains anon -
distributing uncertainty.
