SOCRATES SAVANT
Socrates, a ratty little man, face that would stop a clock,
big bare arms, hanging round the agora on a weekend,
and the raspy-voiced little idiot who sat on Soc's shoulder--
wise-ass pisser, driving citizens off,
questioning everything, discovering nothing!
So, Socrates went friendless--
but without him, what could he have been?
Just another Greek homosexual,
a bit unclean, ill-dressed-- and over-married!
