Solace Poem by Craig Jones

Solace

Rating: 5.0

All on my own within the darkness I sit, seeking solace, a mantra that fits
The silence is deafening, the thoughts are so loud, Accepting not even being a face in the crowd
Fears this is all there is, for me as I grow old, left dreaming of the life society has sold
A story of nothingness, no tragedy or pain, the dullness of boredom becoming insane.
Forever told I'm destined to be great, more of a curse than any sort of fate
The answers may not be forthcoming to show the way, for now i'll use music to envision tomorrow as a better day!
